About Me:

Born in the heart of Boston and rooted in Cape Verdean and
Portuguese heritage, I’ve always seen the world through an artistic
lens. As a child, I found joy in transforming everyday objects into
bold statements of creativity. That curiosity became craft when I
started experimenting with fabrics — inspired by my mother’s
long-standing work at PEAK Event Services. What started as play
quickly evolved into purpose: a deep love for fashion design.

Now a Fashion Design major at UMass Dartmouth and the first in
my family to attend university, I’m driven not just by raw talent,
but by a mission to tell stories through clothing — stories that
reflect identity, movement, and emotion.
